Physeal fracture at the proximal olecranon has been rarely reported in the cat. Bilateral involvement in this case resulted in the cat adopting a ‘kangaroo‐like’ posture with both elbows flexed. Careful clinical examination and radiography were essential for a diagnosis. The fractures were successfully treated using the wire tension band principle.
