In four dogs with forelimb lameness a bony exostosis had developed near the caudal edge of the superficial digital flexor muscle on the medial epicondyle of the humerus. The aetiology possibly involves a traumatic enthesopathy. Surgical resection of the exostoses resolved the lameness.
