Approximately 500 fish were delivered to the Department of Fish Toxicology for routine experiments. Post‐mortem examination of 19 fish (10 males and 9 females) revealed the presence of greyish white cysts in the abdominal cavity, loosely attached to the viscera. Apparently, 50 percent of the total 500 fish were affected, none of which showed clinical abnormality. Pathological results are described and discussed.
