Imizol* (imidocarb diproprionate 12 per cent w/v) at 5 mg/kg body weight was found to be highly effective in the treatment of canine babesiosis, mixed infections of Babesia canis, Hepatozoon canis and Ehrlichia canis , but slightly less effective against uncomplicated Ehrlichia canis infections.
