The levels of activity of sorbitol dehydrogenase (SDH), alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate transaminase (AST), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and its isoenzymes, α‐hydroxybutyric dehydrogenase (α‐HBDH) and creatine kinase (CK) were determined in various tissues of six clinically normal cats. The plasma half times (T 1/2 ) of several hepatic enzymes were also measured in three clinically normal cats.
