ABSTRACT Chemotherapy for canine lymphosarcoma using vincristine, cytosine arabinoside, cyclophosphamide and prednisone produced a median remission time of 15 weeks and survival time of 6 months. Injections of BCG to dogs in remission was not beneficial. Following amputation for osteosarcoma, dogs were injected intravenously on several occasions with BCG vaccine. Of twenty dogs treated, eleven lived 6 months or more and eight lived over one year. The longest survival was 92 weeks.
