A case of bilateral Sertoli cell tumours in a 7‐year‐old cryptorchid male Newfoundland dog is described. The dog showed clinical signs of feminization viz. bilateral alopecia, enlargement of the nipples, and flaccidity of the prepuce. Necropsy revealed developmental anomalies of the genital duct system, squamous metaplasia of the prostatic epithelium, purulent prostatitis, and widespread acute thromboembolism, apparently caused by the prostatic inflammation. Focal squamous metaplasia of the renal tubular epithelium was also found in this case. The connection between this lesion and the Sertoli cell tumour‐feminization complex is discussed.
