A mass located on the dorsal surface of the left radius of a 13‐year‐old spayed miniature Poodle bitch was diagnosed as an extragenital transmissible veneral tumour. A brief study of the chromosomes of the tumour cells revealed their similarity to the chromosomes of the genitally located tumour. The source of infection in the dog was not known. 2 Present Address: Department of Clinical Studies, Ontario Veterinary College, University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, Canada
