Three cases of alopecia in the dog related to adrenocortical dysfunction

Three cases of alopecia in the dog are described; a Miniature Poodle showed bilateral adrenocortical hyperplasia; another Miniature Poodle had hypercortisolaemia with virilization probably associated with hyper‐adrenocorticism; and the third dog, a cross‐breed, had hypocortisolaemia associated with bilateral adrenocortical adenomata. Résumé. On décrit trois cas d'alopécie chez le chien; un caniche nain présentait une hyper‐plasie corticosurrénale; un autre chien de la même race avait une hypercortisolémie avec virilisme, due probablement à un hypercorticisme; le troisième chien, de race impure avait une hypercortisolémie due à des adénomes corticosurrénaux bilatéraux. Zusammenfassung. Es werden drei Fälle von Alopecia beim Hund beschrieben; ein Zwergpudel zeigte bilaterale adrenocorticale Hyperplasie; ein anderer Zwergpudel hatte Hypercorti‐solämie mit Virilisation wahrscheinlich in Verbindung mit Hyperadrenocorticismus, und der dritte Hund, eine Kreuzung, hatte Hypocortisolämie verbunden mit bilateralen adrenocorti‐calen Adenomen.
