— A review is presented of the three main types of bone dystrophy in the dog. Following a discussion on the biochemistry of bone, osteomalacia (rickets), osteoporosis and osteodystrophia fibrosa are reviewed together with the radiographic features of the conditions. Résumé— –Après une discussion sur la biochimie de l'os, on passe en revue les trois principaux types de dystrophie osseuse chez le chien: l'ostéomalacie (rachitisme), l'ostéoporose et l'ostéofibrose, et on en donne les caractères radiologiques. Zusammenfassung— Es wird ein kritischer Bericht über die drei Haupttypen von Knochendystrophie beim Hund vorgelegt. Nach einer Diskussion über die Biochemie des Knochens werden Knochenerweichungen (Rachitis), Osteoporose und Ostitis fibrosa mit den röntgenologischen Merkmalen der Zustände erörtert.
