— A clinical review is presented of diabetes mellitus in the dog and cat. The incidence, aetiology and diagnosis are discussed. Particular reference is made to diagnostic procedures as available to the clinician. Treatment by diet, oral hypoglycaemic agents and insulin is reviewed with reference to the maintenance of both canine and feline cases.
