— A brief history of toxoplasmosis is given together with a description of the different clinical manifestations in man. An explanation of the different types of diagnostic tests available for this condition, with their various difficulties is presented. Finally the results of a series of methylene blue dye tests used for the diagnosis of toxoplasmosis, with associated symptoms, in the dog is reviewed.
