— This paper describes the results obtained by using some of the “classical” liver function tests (alluded to in the previous paper on Serum Transaminases, Hoe and Harvey, 1961) on a wide range of clinical cases. The tests include the measurement of Serum Bilirubin, Serum Alkaline Phosphatase, Serum Cholinesterase and Uric Acid; also the estimation of Total Serum Cholesterol and the Cholesterol Ester Ratio. Serum proteins were studied by paper electrophoresis and by empirical turbidity tests.
