SYNOPSIS T he primitive ‘age’ of trenching has been with us for a long time, but it is now being overtaken by the ‘New Age’ of trenchless technology. If the benefits of the ‘New Age’ are to be fully realized, there must be proper co‐ordination of utilities' pipes and cables under urban streets.
