The ability to use administrative databases to identify elementary schools at risk for high percentages of school absence may prove useful in targeting elementary schools to receive absence reduction interventions. This report demonstrates an analysis method using easting administrative data for generating relative risks. Taking advantage of administrative databases can save resources and assist efforts in developing ways to reduce elementary school absence.
