Health Education For Prospective Teachers: Is It Effective?

Prospective teachers enrolled in a health education and drug abuse course at Sonoma State University were given a pre‐ and post‐course student opinion survey questionnaire. Data from the survey supports the conclusion that the more a prospective teacher knows about health education the more assured that person will be in teaching the subject and in dealing with pupils who have medical problems.
