Adjustments of farm organization can or should be made to improve farm income within the Medstead and related areas. Empirical findings, supported by value judgments emanating from knowledge of the areas and agriculture in general, form the basis of the policy recommendations. Such recommendations, however, should be periodically re‐assessed in terms of the changing supply and demand relationships for agricultural products.
