A new genus and a new species of fossil nemobiins, Liaonemobius tanae gen. et sp. nov., are described and illustrated. This is the first record of fossil cricket from China. All the specimens described here were collected from the Late Jurassic Yixian Formation of West Liaoning, China, and now are deposited in the National Geological Museum of China, Beijing.
