  The present paper deals with the description of a new collembolan species, Homidia tibetensis , which shares some characters with H. heugsanica Lee et Park, 1984. However, it can be distinguished from the latter by the chaetotaxy of Abd. I, n and N, setal formula of labial base and the absence of labral papillae.
