The present paper deals with the description of a new collembolan species, Hwnidia an‐huiensis , which shares some characters with H. speciosa Szeptycki 1973. However, it can be distinguished from the latter by the chaetotaxy of the fourth abdominal segment, the absence of labrial papillae, and the presence of ciliations of labial triangular seta E.
