The present paper deals with a new species, Heratemis ustulatus Wu et Chen, collected from Fujian Province. The new species is distinguished easily from the closely related species Heratemis uegeta (Papp) by the following characters: head blackish‐brown, mesonotum reddish‐brown, length of ovipositor equal to abdomen. Type specimen is deposited in Beneficial Insects Lab., Fujian Agricultural University, Fuzhou, Fujian Province.
