Abstract Anomala cupripes Hope, A. rubripes sp. nov., A. rubripes virescens ssp. nov., A. ignipes sp. nov., A. truncata Bates, A. truncata chlorochelys Arrow, A. ex pansa Bates, A. virens sp. nov., A. planicorna sp. nov. and A. granuliformis sp. nov. found in China have been put together as a species group according to their main features including male and female genitalia. Descriptions and illustrations with a key to the species of the group and a discussion of their taxonomy are given.
