This paper deals with a new species of Aprostocetus collected from the campus of Jiangxi Agricultural University. This species is an inquiline living in the galls of a gall‐midge on Ilex cornutu L. Specimens are preserved in the Department of Plant Protection, Jiangxi Agricultural University.
