SUMMARY A bioassay using Botrytis cinerea detected 0–05 ppm benomyl in potato dextrose agar. Nine species of Cochliobolus , fourteen of Drechslera , four of Helminthosporium and five of Pyrenophora tolerated the presence of benomyl to the same extent, and grew on agar plates containing 40 ppm of the compound.
