S ummary .(a)  The problem of the infestation of imported stored products by the Phycitid moths, Ephestia elutella Hb. and Plodia interpunctella Hb., is outlined. (b)  An outline account is given of the life history of Ephestia elutella Hb. and Plodia interpunctella Hb. in the London warehouse. (c)  The specification of the insecticidal material used is given, together with a description of its properties and the factors influencing its choice. (d)  An account is given of inflammability tests on the material when in an atomised state. (e)  The apparatus used is described. (f)  The process as used against moths is described. (g)  The process as used against migrating larvae is described. (h)  The precautions which should be taken by operators are given. (i)  An account is given of a series of biological tests and observations made on the effects of this material and process on the moths and larvae of Plodia interpunctella Hb. and Ephestia elutella Hb.
