SUMMARY1 A serious disease of the Arum Lily (Richardia africana) is described, which causes the formation of large brown blotches on all parts of the aerial shoot system. 2 The cause of the disease is Phyllosticta Richardiae n.sp., a diagnosis of which is given. 3 Suggestions are made for the control of this disease both under glass and in the open.
