S ummary .1 Evidence is submitted to show that mosaic disease of both the cucumber and the tomato is transmitted by the seed. 2 Stocks of infected seeds have been cleaned by early and careful roguing of diseased plants. 3 There is every reason to believe that in this country the incidence of this disease in glasshouses can be reduced to small proportions, if not entirely prevented, by the use of clean seed.
