SUMMARY Twenty‐two cytotoxic anti‐leucocyte antisera, possibly identifying twenty‐one leucocyte antigens in the sheep, have been used to type forty sheep families. It has been demonstrated that the antigens are under genetic control and that they are not Y‐linked. A difference in antigen frequency in different breeds is indicated.
