I am writing about the Jack Young Centre because I have been actively involved in its creation and progress. I have been a member of the Centre's Advisory Committee since January 1987 and before that I was a member of the Steering Committee which helped push the idea forward, designed the plans for the extensions and got the Centre off the ground. I write as a Centre volunteer and as such I speak on behalf of all its many users.
