The future of esthetic dentistry holds vast opportunities. One of those already available is the composite inlay procedure. The direct inlay technique may be performed in one appointment; the indirect method using a skilled laboratory is also an option. Because of its small size and excellent polishability, the composite inlay has beautiful esthetic results. In the future, dentists will be able to fabricate veneers, remove them from prepared teeth, light/heat cure them, and bond them in the office all in one appointment.
