A case of fatal arterial disease characterized by intimal proliferation with occlusion of small and medium sized arteries is reported. The pathological picture corresponded to that seen in Köhlmeier‐Degos' cutaneo‐systemic disease. Clinically the patient showed a multisymp‐tomatic disease, ending fatally due to intestinal gangrene. The typical skin lesion described in Kö hlmeier‐Degos' disease was, however, not observed. Although differing in some respects from the classical features of this disease, the reported case is believed to be of a similar nature.
