. Congenital hypothyroidism was detected on routine neonatal screening in an infant with congenital nephrosis of Finnish type and followed up for 3 years. The hypothyroidism was transient; clinical and biochemical signs and symptoms disappeared after a 20‐month period of thyroid replacement therapy and partial improvement of nephrotic symptoms.
