. A 23‐month‐old girl developed a chloroma of the right mandible. Delay in fixation at the initial biopsy confused the histopathology and a second biopsy was required to establish the diagnosis. She was treated with radiotherapy to the local lesion in addition to combination chemotherapy. She is presently maintained on treatment in good health sixteen months after diagnosis.
