. A case of isolated histiocytosis X of the liver is described in a 12‐month‐old child. The patient's symptomcomplex were characterized by fever, tachycardia, hypertension and odd posturing resembling the clinical picture of pheochromocytoma. An extensive workup failed to demonstrate a catecholamine secreting tumor and only histiocytosis X of the liver was found.
