SUMMARY Quantitative CRP determinations using immunodiffusion methods have been performed on 113 infants with various infections. Occurrence and concentration of CRP differed for various infectious diseases. Thus it was found in only a third of the infants with gastroenteritis, whereas it was found in all infants with pyelonephritis, mostly in high concentrations.
