Summary A combination of Millicorten and Ul‐tandren (Ciba) was tried in two cases of primary aplastic anaemia with success in one case. The value of Ultandren was found to start early in the course of therapy, while a maintenance course of Millicorten was found necessary. The effect of therapy was most marked on the haemoglobin level and red cell count. The platelets responded less favourably. Regeneration of the white cells was only found to a small extent. Studies with radioactive iron showed that after treatment the patient demonstrated normal ferrokinetics.
