Summary Possible toxoplasma transmission from a cat in a case of toxoplasmosis congenita is reported. It is the first confirmed case of feline toxoplasmosis in Norway. It seems reasonable that pregnant women should be warned against too close contact with sick animals (dogs, cats) even in this country.
