From an early age as a medical man W allgren was interested in the clinical picture of tuberculosis. Through his numerous publications in this field he has exerted a great influence on current conceptions of tuberculosis in childhood. His largest work, with M iller as a co‐author, is “Pulmonary Tuberculosis in Adults and Children” (New York, 1939). The Editorial Committee is happy to have a review in this field presented by Dr W aldo E. N elson of Philadelphia.
