SUMMARY A report is given of two cases of congenital malformations in infants, whose siblings had suffered from measles during the second month of their mothers' pregnancy. The mothers, themselves, were not affected by measles at this time but had had the disease in childhood. The malformations in question were in one case cheilo‐palato‐schisis and in the other palato‐schisis, micrognathy and a rudimentary ear. It seems worth while bearing in mind a possible causal relationship between prenatal exposure to measles and congenital malformations.
