SUMMARY Report of a case of feminine pubertas praecox: at the age of 7 months the child started growth of the breasts and pubes, and ever since she has menstruated regularly. When she was 3 1 / i year old, she measured 108 cm, and her bone development was equivalent to that of a 10 year‐old child. She looks like a small girl at puberty. After a discussion of the different types of feminine pubertas praecox, it is assumed that the child belongs to the so‐called constitutional type, though the presence of anatomical changes of probably benign nature in the hypothalamus cannot be precluded.
