SUMMARY Two cases of hermaphroditismus verus. The cases are almost congruent. The patients are, practically speaking, of the same age. Both have greatly enlarged clitoris, persistent sinus urogenitalis, hyperplasia of the suprarenals and malformation of the external genitals. As to the cause of death it is difficult to say anything definite. One of the patients had an infection of the urinary ducts, but can hardly be thought to have been lethal. In the other case no infection was noted. As to whether endocrine anomalies may have been the cause of death it is impossible to express any opinion.
