Summary. .The authors report four cases of unusual types of congenital cardiac defect. Cases I, II and III can undoubtedly be regarded as malformations of the heart. In ease IV the possibility of an etiology of foetal infection could not be wholly excluded. The difficulty of making a detailed diagnosis of the different forms of congenital cardiac disease in vivo is stressed. The electrocardiographic findings are discussed.
