Isoenzymes of adenosine deaminase (ADA) in the eelpout, Zoarces viviparus , are determined by an autosomal locus, Ada . In a population at Hov near Aarhus two common alleles and two rare variant alleles, mutually codominant, were found. Data on the segregation of alleles at locus Ada were obtained from samples of mother‐offspring combinations. Free recombination between Ada and previously described enzyme loci was verified.
