 –  An essential procedure for the incorporation of the tooth into the alveolus following injury is fixation of an avulsed or luxated tooth. Multiple traumatic injuries, e.g., from road accidents, often accompany dental injury. As dental trauma is not life‐threatening, treatment is usually delayed and not given as much attention as general medical treatment. Simple and immediate tooth fixation with suturing in the emergency or operating room could improve long‐term prognosis of the injured tooth. This easy‐to‐perform procedure can prevent later complications and morbidity.
