This case report describes the first phase in the treatment of an 11‐year‐old patient with completely intruded maxillary central incisors. The intruded teeth were left to spontaneously re‐erupt. After 10 days, the crowns of the teeth were exposed surgically for the initiation of endodontic therapy and an aqueous paste of calcium hydroxide was placed in the root canals. Eight wk after the injury and 6 wk after the endodontic treatment was initiated, the intruded incisors had re‐erupted to about their original position before the displacement occurred.
