Drawing conclusions from the CAESAR study is complicated by the poor tolerance of the calcineurin inhibitor avoidance and withdrawal arms, leaving difficulties with intention‐to‐treat analysis because many calcineurin inhibitor‐free patients are actually still on these agents.
