Retraction: The following article from Scandinavian Journal of Medicine & Science in Sports , ‘The relationship between physical activity and health‐related quality of life: a systematic review of current evidence’ by Johan Klavestrand and Eva Vingård, published in Volume 19 Issue 3, June 2009, pages 300 to 312 has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal Editor in Chief, Michael Kjaer and John Wiley & Sons A/S. The retraction has been agreed due to an overlap between this article and a paper which has appeared in the journal, Preventive Medicine , Volume 45 Issue 6, pages 401 to 415, entitled ‘Physical activity level and health‐related quality of life in the general adult population: a systematic review’, by Raphaël Bize, Jeffrey A. Johnson and Ronald C. Plotnikoff. The corresponding author J Klavestrand apologises to the authors of the article identified above for the overlap between the two articles.
