The adhesion of cultured mouse lymphoblastoma cells to glass beads was measured. The effect of some factors influencing the adhesion rate was estimated. To obtain reproducible results, the flow rate, the cell washing procedure, the time lag between the washing and the application of the cells to the glass bead columns, and the pH must be standardized.
