– 110 patients with psoriatic arthritis (PA) and 110 individually matched control subjects were examined for clinical signs of craniomandibular (CM) disorders. Patients with PA differed significantly from control patients as regards the range of mandibular movements, tenderness to palpation of the masticatory muscles and TMJs, arid the frequency of TMJ sounds and painful mandibular movements. In the PA‐group clinical signs of CM disorders correlated with the duration, extent and severity of PA.
