— Attention is called to the good results obtained on applying Apernyl® cones containing acetylsalicylic acid in cases of postoperative pain after tooth extraction. In an experimental investigation in 14 guinea pigs the authors studied healing of jaw bone cavities filled with Apernyl. No difference in the histology of the wound or in the course of wound healing was noticed between the experimental and control cavities. No complications were observed.
